Since 2012 I have been working as a freelance translator and interpreter for the Russian, German and English languages.

I graduated from Irkutsk State Linguistic University in Russia with a degree in Linguistics and Translation, which formed the basis for my work today. I am totally comfortable switching not only between Russian, German and English, but also between text and speech in these languages. I earned my second education degree, a Bachelor degree (LP) in Law and Economics of Tourism, at the French University Aix-Marseille. Together with solid work experience gained in the tourism industry, this naturally led to my specialisation areas in translation: finance and legal translation and interpreting.

Concise and sophisticated, the professional language of these fields requires me to work with meticulous attention to detail and continuously to learn new concepts. This way my everyday practical work as translator is the best preparation for interpreting at court hearings and public authorities.

I am duly authorised by the German Regional Court in Potsdam for English and Russian written translations. Having successfully passed the German State Examination (specialisation Law) and taken a general oath at Potsdam Regional court, I am also a sworn interpreter for the Russian language.

As a member of the reputable German Association of Interpreters and Translators, I adhere to its Professional code of practice.
